Co Moc Tea – Pu-erh Tea is a fully fermented tea, created through the activity of natural bacteria and yeast present in the tea leaves. Because it undergoes complete microbial fermentation, it is classified as a fully fermented tea.

Co Moc Tea is made from 100% whole one bud and one leaf harvested from 300–500-year-old Shan Tuyet ancient tea trees growing in the mountainous regions of Northwest Vietnam at elevations between 1,800 and 2,100 meters.

Production Process

Ripe Co Moc Tea is crafted through the following stages:
Plucking → Withering → Kill-green (enzyme deactivation) → Rolling → Drying → One-step microbial fermentation → Compression into tea cakes

Ripe Co Moc Tea has a warm, woody aroma and an attractive reddish-brown liquor. Its flavor is smooth, mellow, and slightly sweet, without any bitterness or sharpness.

How to Brew Perfect Ripe Co Moc Tea

1. Rinse the teapot and cups with boiling water.

2. Use 5–10 grams of tea in a 150ml teapot.

3. Pour hot water cooled to 90–95°C (194–203°F).

4. Steep for 1–3 minutes, depending on your preferred strength.

5. Pour out all the tea. Stir the leaves gently, let them rest for 1–2 minutes, then re-steep.
   A single pot can yield 8–10 flavorful infusions.
